Hey everyone, hope you're all loving this beautiful weather and enjoying the weekend! Here's a cheeky lil video showing off all the amazing talent (plus ourselves 😉) that will be appearing at Green Island Festival, hosted at the beautiful Hulme Community Garden Centre over three weekends this summer! 💐🥳🌺

White Scottish tin loaf, spread with a gorgeous dip made from tomato, Egyptian pickled lemons (a highly recommended addition to your store cupboard), tahini & garlic, topped with fresh fennel, wild garlic and cracked black pepper. And of course plenty of extra virgin olive oil 👌🏻
The wild garlic and fennel combined really nicely to add an amazing freshness to this dish!

What would a Tacover be without Tacos?? 🌮🌮
On Saturday night we'll be serving authentic Mexican-style tacos: maize tortillas with three different fillings, two of which you can see here... Slow-cooked black bean stew (made with dried Mexican chillies, garlic and lots of love 🧄🌶️♥️✨), and our Soy Adobado (ground beef-style soy mince cooked in our special Adobo sauce) 🔥🔥🔥
Another heavyweight B2B with two of the Manchester scene's most eclectic selectors.... Chandé heads up Heliocentric, an immersive series fusing left-field broken beat and cosmic jazz with the rhythms of the dancefloor. After sharing the decks with the legendary Kaidi Tatham at YES, on Saturday night he will be going track for track with Bombard Groove's Finnian., an accomplished DJ with a deep catalogue of floor fillers who has supported acts such as Sadar Bahar and Manchester legend Greg Wilson. Expect big house party bangers from these two veterans of the club and house party scene.

Global Source Kitchen is an up-and-coming vegan street food project set up by a pair of fun-loving lads from North Yorkshire, providing dishes which draw inspiration from a wide range of cuisines from around the world. Drawing on a passion for authentic, high-quality food, as well as an adventurous culinary style that reworks classic recipes without losing sight of what defines them, expect a carefully crafted selection of dishes full of flavour and attitude.
We also run Manchester’s first and only hummus delivery service; an independent alternative to nasty exploitative companies like Deliveroo and Uber Eats. In addition to hummus, we offer a rotating menu of takeaway options, with a different dish available every Friday night.
We aim to promote vegan living through sharing delicious food and encouraging our customers to try cooking vegan themselves. We are happy to serve anyone, however - we’re not going to turn you away if you enjoy a sausage sandwich once in a while. As far as we’re concerned, every black bean burrito or tofu katsu curry that we sell means another Big Mac that doesn’t get bought. We also work in partnership with charities and non-profit organisations, promoting and raising money for worthy causes that benefit vulnerable people.
If you’re holding an event and are looking for someone to cater it, please don’t hesitate to get in touch! We’re willing to travel and have some experience with larger events.
