Agenda Cultural - Spanish Cultural Bites - Join us for a unique evening with top Spanish Chef Ana Villegas-Méndez at The Cheese Yard, Poynton. We are delighted to host a truly unique gastronomic event and are privileged to have Ana for a second time bringing us the real cuisine of Spain. Ana takes the detail and flavours of her dishes to the next level. She pours a long tradition and the true heart and passion of an Andalusian. From the first mouthful, you know this is the real deal! For a taste of Andalusia, Ana will be treating us to Ana's Signature Andalusian Granada Casserole and pairing it with the locally sourced, Andalusian w**e Prado Negro, from a well known regional boutique vineyard.Our night will take place at the lovely setting of The Cheese Yard in Poynton. You will learn about the dish, ingredients and w**es and we will be bringing raffles and games to make it a truly fun experience! AbejaCatering

Due to popular demand, we are back at our favourite cafe in Poynton, Cafe Azul Poynton ,for a w**e & food pairing night 🥂. Throughout the evening, we will showcase six amazing w**es from boutique w**eries in Southern Spain. And to pair with each w**e, I will cook a delicious tapas dish inspired in my family cooking heritage 🤤.

You will also learn about our w**es and food pairings from knowledgable Jack Tovey, a WSET accredited w**e educator. Jack will transport you to the sun-kissed vineyards of Andalucia region with our carefully selected w**es and delicious pintxos.

Last evening, I had the pleasure of creating a private dinner for an intimate gathering of eight to celebrate Julie’s PhD graduation—a moment years in the making.

These intimate dinners are my favourite events to cook for. Being able to create a bespoke dining experience that brings people together around the table is truly a privilege. Every plate was prepared with care, making the evening feel personal, relaxed, and full of joy. And reminds me why I love what I do. ✨
