Meet 🌱 Spring & Axle! ⚙️

This Pale Ale is a cracker, approaching the style from a slightly different angle than our last few Pales. We've focused on the best British malt we could get our hands on, in this case heritage Pearl Barley from .

Best known for its use in The Alchemists iconic brew Heady Topper, it's so good the Vermont brewery ship it all the way from Yorkshire! This speciality malt is abundant with bready flavour, with a soft sweet toffee tinge.

We've paired it with Cascade, El Dorado & HBC 522, which sit softly on top, never overpowering that delicious malt complexity, while adding a light, fruity finish. The perfect synergy!

Pouring a glorious amber colour and tugging at your sleeve to pour another, we're really proud of this one. 💛

Cream Line is our Vegan Milk Stout. That's right, no lactose, all the luxury .

How do we do it? A malt bill with a sweet tooth, Phoenix hops with their unique treacly chocolate character, and a touch of vanilla.

On cask it's smooth and dreamy, with a hint of roast to bring things back to earth. 🤍

We are incredibly excited to be part of the next step in this historic Hulme pub's journey!

The team behind Now Wave and Yes have gone all out in transforming this iconic building, with an incredible revamped pub space and music venue.

We love to see an old boozer taken care of like this!

Blackjack take over the cask lines, with four of our freshest and best. You'll find core favourites alongside collabs, specials and one-off brews.

Things kick off for opening night from 5pm tonight.

Jeb Loy Nichols returns to Manchester later this month and we can’t wait!

We’ve teamed up with local legends and Brewtap regulars The Devil’s Jukebox to put together a very special music filled day on Saturday 20th June.

If you were lucky enough to attend last year's gig at you’ll know how excited we are to see again. Born in the States, but living in Wales, his music is ostensibly country, but filtered through a lens of soul, disco & dub. We were blown away by his last live performance & can’t wait to bring his brilliant music to the Brewtap.

He’ll be supported by a stellar lineup of musicians; with live performances from , and / on the decks.

We’ll have returning to rustle up top-notch grub for you & Blackjack will be pouring our usual eclectic selection of beers.

Pints, delicious food and amazing live music. We’re spoiling you with this one! ☀️ 🍻 🤠
