Our best hazy yet? Yup! This is the ARCHETYPE. 💛 

This super fresh beer is a delicious New Zealand Pale, in cask now and coming to keg & can very soon...

We road tested it at the Brewtap over the weekend and it absolutely thrived!

This is hands down the finest hazy special we've released so far and was a big hit with tap attendees.

A trio of our favourite Kiwi hops; Riwaka, Motueka and Nelson, shine with juicy passionfruit & mango notes, before a dash of zesty lime rounds things out. 🍋‍🟩 🥭 

Archetype is soft, full-bodied, packed with flavour, and a beer we are incredibly proud of! 🙌

💙 Electric Circus was a short-lived yet iconic music venue in Manchester that operated from 1976 to 1977.

The notorious punk venue in Collyhurst was housed in a run-down former comedy club, cinema and bingo hall.  While only open for a year, it gained a notorious reputation in that brief period. 

Most famous for hosting two wild S*x Pistols gigs, Electric Circus was also visited by the rest of the cream of the 70s punk scene; The Clash, The Ramones, Buzzcocks and The Damned, as well artier fare like Talking Heads.

We've swiped the Electric Circus moniker for our low ABV Pale. It's loaded with Citra & Mosaic, and full of attitude. Would 70s punks like it? Probably not. Too busy flogging dairy products these days!

We're really proud of this brew and it's been a massive hit with you too. We can't seem to keep this one in stock so grab it while it's hot! 🍻

What an amazing Friday we had in Sheffield, just one beautiful day in four weekends that make up the best event in the beer calendar.

It might not be the biggest or most hype fuelled festival in the country, but what Martha & Dann have built is much more special.

Their celebration of German beer culture is the friendliest, most community minded and fun place you'll find yourself as a beer drinker.

The Lagers are as good as it gets, the vibe impeccable and this year it was an absolute honour to be able to pour our collaboration brew there. A dream come true!

Massive thanks to everyone involved in this unique & affirming knees up. Roll on next year! 🍻

Brewtap's back alright in less than a week! 🍻

You know the drill by now; fresh beer, top tunes, lovely grub and a friendly Angel Meadows welcome!

We've got Scott & the crew holding things down on Friday night with their stellar selection of soulful wax.

Tap stalwarts and Chris Maude get it started on Saturday afternoon, before the chaps from round things out with their roll 'n' fantasies.

To top it off we've got food from the iconic NQ sandwich spot Bada Bing Sandwich Deli all day on Saturday!

Can't wait for this one. Make sure you get your arses down. We're not going to tell you twice! 😊

We launched our spicy, German-style Rye beer last night at The Smithfield Market Tavern with our collaborative friends, Brewery of SMOD.

What a beautiful evening sharing delicious beer with friends! Big thanks to St Mars for brewing this off-piste style with us, and being great company throughout.

You'll find it pouring at the pub for the foreseeable, in can on the webshop, or across the Pennines at the incredible SMODFEST ( if you haven't been before, treat yourself).

Last month Howling Hops jumped on a train up to Manchester to put the finishing touches on a recipe that draws the best from both our hazy session pales...

A collaborative crush of Hazy Meadow and Tropical Deluxe, TROPICAL MEADOW was the delicious result!

Drawing inspiration from both of our brewing styles, we've then turned things up to 100 with a shedload of delicious Dolcita hops.

You can expect punchy notes of pineapple, creamy coconut, ripe stone fruit and juicy nectarine. A tropical storm blows across the meadow!

🧡 Next week we are incredibly excited to launch our Brewery of SMOD collaboration! 🤍

If you're anything like us you'll rate the Sheffield masters as one of the best breweries in the country.

Working with such an incredible team gave us lots of room for experimentation, and after plenty of chatter we landed on a lesser brewed German style, the Roggenbier!

This Rye Beer is brewed with Hefeweizen yeast, and marries those delicious fruity esters with the spicy punch of Rye malt. We've delicately hopped it with Mandarina Bavaria, imparting a touch of fresh citrus, but keeping bitterness to a minimum.

Pouring a beautifully deep amber colour, The Dream is everything we wanted it to be! You'll find it pouring from open next Wednesday at The Smithfield Market Tavern, alongside two stunning St Mars Lagers.

SMOD will join us in the evening so please come through, enjoy the beers and say hello! 👋
