It's been a while. Had to pop this post up for this lovely burger place; Adanos on Oldham Road in Failsworth.

Great service, food and one of the cleanest food establishments we've had the pleasure of visiting.

Highly recommend.

We pray for world peace, we pray that difficulties are eased, poverty is reduced, and that happiness and contentment reaches the hearts and souls of every human being on earth.

To fast and observe this month is to learn about ourselves, better ourselves, appreciate all that we have and do more for the poor.

As some of you might be aware, Ramadan is fast approaching, 1st Ramadan expected to be on Saturday 2nd April.

This is the month where Muslims will be fasting throughout the day between sunrise and sunset. This will continue for 29/30 days, dependent upon the lunar cycle.

We are putting together weekly food parcels for those observing this month of Ramadan. This is in collaboration with (Instagram) and Under The Grill () who are artisan halal meat suppliers, supplying the meat for all the parcels. And Manchester Superstore on Clarendon Road in Whalley Range, who continue to support us for the last several years.

Your support in this will be needed, more than ever before, all families have been assessed and referred to us via DWP contacts and local schools.

In a follow up from yesterday's post......

Group called Patriotic Millionaires UK writes to the Chancellor calling for higher tax for the rich to help people who are struggling but Treasury rejects offer.

A group of super-rich people are begging Rishi Sunak to tax them more to spare the poor.

But the Treasury say they should just write the Government a cheque instead.

Thirty members of Patriotic Millionaires UK wrote an open letter asking the Chancellor to target the 119,000 people with more than £3.6million.

They calculate it would raise £43.7billion, enough to pay for the National Insurance rise twice over, cover the salaries of 50,000 nurses, build 35,000 affordable homes and bump up Universal Credit.

Why would you reject this Rishi Sunak ? Makes no sense....well we kind of get why, guess it means you and many of your friends and associates would have to pay out a little bit more.

We're tired, drained of it all 😔

Aslong as we're needed, we'll support, ask for support and do what we have to.

Real success will be tackling, and resolving, the issues and reasons that have given rise to 'foodbanks'.
