Had a fantastic day in Harrogate for Dalziel’s "Battle of the Butchers” show to celebrate their centenary. We entered our traditional pork sausage and have been awarded 2 gold stars after scoring an impressive 94 points out of 100 🏆

This was a nationwide competition judged by some of the most experienced people in the meat industry so we are very pleased with our result.

The event was packed out and it was great to catch up with a few people I’ve not seen in a while.

A big day in store today - we have a huge range of barbecue items, a fresh batch of dry-aged sirloin and T-bone steaks, plus BL Baked Goods will be joining us from 10am with her pop-up bakery 🎉

Make sure to stock up on your favourites while you can, as we’ll be closed on Tuesday 26th May. After today, we’ll reopen as usual (8am-4pm) on Wednesday 27th.

BL Baked Goods will be back this Saturday 23rd May (a week earlier than usual) to celebrate 2 years since her first event with us👩🏻‍🍳🎂

We’re delighted to have played a small part in helping launch Brittany’s business, and even more delighted to see how it has grown over the past two years. Supporting young entrepreneurs is something we’re very proud of, and we’d encourage other businesses to offer support and space where they can.
