🧀 LOADED CHEESE FRIES
Crispy Fries with Melted Cheese & Toppings

🛒 INGREDIENTS
Fries
4 large potatoes (Russet potatoes recommended)
Cold water (for soaking)
Oil for frying (vegetable or canola)
Salt to taste
Cheese Sauce
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp all-purpose flour
1 cup milk (warm)
1½ cups cheddar cheese (shredded)
½ tsp garlic powder
¼ tsp black pepper
Salt to taste
Toppings (Optional but Viral)
Crispy beef bacon or turkey bacon (chopped)
Chopped green onions
Jalapeños (fresh or pickled)
Sour cream or ranch dressing
👨🍳 INSTRUCTIONS
1️⃣ Prepare the Fries
Peel and cut potatoes into thick fries.
Soak in cold water for 30 minutes (important for extra crispiness).
Drain and pat dry completely.
Fry at 160°C / 320°F for 5–6 minutes (first fry).
Rest for 5 minutes.
Fry again at 190°C / 375°F until golden and crispy.
Sprinkle with salt immediately.
2️⃣ Make the Cheese Sauce
Melt butter in a pan over medium heat.
Add flour, whisk for 1 minute.
Slowly pour in warm milk while whisking.
Cook until thick.
Add cheddar cheese, garlic powder, pepper, and salt.
Stir until smooth and creamy.
3️⃣ Assemble
Place hot fries on a serving plate.
Pour cheese sauce generously on top.
Add bacon, jalapeños, and green onions.
Finish with sour cream or ranch drizzle.
