The ultimate steak sandwich.

Start by making a golden grilled cheese using buttered bread and a generous layer of melted cheese, toasted until crisp on the outside and fully molten in the centre. Open the sandwich and spread over a light layer of sauce before layering in freshly sliced steak cooked to a tender medium rare finish.

Top the steak with slow cooked caramelised onions and a handful of thinly sliced crispy fries for added texture and crunch. Close the sandwich back together and press lightly while still hot, allowing everything to combine into a rich, savoury steak grilled cheese with melted cheese, sweet onions, crispy fries, and juicy sliced steak throughout.
