Like many of you, I’ve faced health challenges – including coeliac disease – which inspired me to create something that’s truly gluten-free, handmade, and full of flavour. Gluten Free Factory is my way of giving back: tasty, honest food made with care, for everyone who needs it.

My gluten-free crêpe mix came along to Menorca too! Just a few fresh local ingredients, a little cooking in the morning, and lunch for the beach was sorted!

Homemade food, sunshine and a beautiful beach. What more could I ask for?

Gluten-Free Shopping in Menorca!

What a discovery! ALDI has definitely been my favourite supermarket for gluten-free shopping here in Menorca!

I was genuinely surprised by the fantastic selection of gluten-free products, alongside vegetarian and vegan options too. From pasta and pizza to snacks and savoury treats – so much to choose from!

Everything I’ve tried so far has been really tasty!

If you’re visiting Menorca and travelling with coeliac disease, ALDI is definitely worth checking out. Just remember to check the gluten-free labels on individual products.

A little less food stress and a lot more holiday enjoyment!

What a gluten-free paradise in Menorca!

We came back from the beach feeling hungry and discovered this little gem, Lluís Febrer, just a short detour from where we were staying!

From traditional pastries with nuts and custard to delicious creamy cakes, pastries filled with spinach and tuna, and even a baguette – so many gluten-free treats to choose from!

And the best part? Everything we tried was absolutely delicious!

I’m in gluten-free heaven!

P.S. I’m definitely coming back from Menorca with some delicious inspiration for my customers! ;)

Gluten-free holidays in Menorca 🇪🇸

Travelling with coeliac disease always takes a little extra planning 😂I always bring some of my own food for the first few days, until I discover what’s available locally.
This time, I managed to pack my bread, granola and crêpe mix.
Menorca already looks promising for gluten-free food😉And of course, my first little treat was some delicious gluten-free ice cream in Ciutadella.

Now I’m off to discover more local gluten-free goodies🙌

A little hidden gem in Nottinghamshire!

Today I had the pleasure of visiting Goldendrops Bee Farm and meeting the wonderful Mariusz, a beekeeper with incredible knowledge and a genuine passion for what he does.

He showed me his fantastic range of local honey and bee products, and I certainly didn’t leave empty-handed! I came home with honey, honeycomb, bee pollen, propolis and some beautiful beeswax candles.

And I have some lovely news to share!

I’m delighted that we’re starting a collaboration, and Goldendrops local honey will soon be available at Kate’s Gluten Free Factory!

I’m a big believer in supporting small, independent businesses, especially people who put their heart and soul into what they do. It’s something Mariusz and I have in common.

If you love discovering special local places, I really recommend visiting Goldendrops and exploring their wonderful products.

A little look at the first Farmers’ Market at Berry Hill Park, Mansfield!

Today was the first Farmers’ Market at Berry Hill Park, and I’ve also been invited to have a stall there on the 22nd!

Unfortunately, I couldn’t be there myself today because Kate’s Gluten Free Factory was open, but I sent my representative — my husband. He was already out delivering some of your orders, so he stopped by to have a look and film a little bit for me.

His very detailed report was basically: “It looks really good!” And that was about it. At least he brought me a video!

From what I can see, it looks really interesting, and I’m seriously thinking about joining the next Farmers’ Market. I don’t have all the lovely market equipment and setup that some of today’s stallholders had, so I’ll have to get creative, but I think it could be a great opportunity to meet new people and introduce Kate’s Gluten Free Factory to more local customers.

Hello, my lovely followers! My bakery will be open tomorrow (Saturday) from 10am–4pm, or until sold out! 🍞🥐

I’ll be baking fresh gluten-free bread, rolls and other homemade goodies first thing in the morning, but I have room in my oven for a few extra batches. Message me today to pre-order your favourites and make sure you don’t miss out! ❤️

Everything currently available in the bakery can also be ordered in advance. I’ll have your order ready for collection, so you can simply pop in and pick it up.
