Our laying girls are making the most of the nice weather, free ranging in the potato fields and loving every minute of it! There’s nothing better than seeing happy hens out exploring, scratching around, and enjoying fresh air and open space.

Everything we sell is produced right here on our farm in Doddington. Our eggs come from rescue hens given a second chance, and our potatoes are grown and produced by us too.

At The Fenland Egg Round, most of our girls are rehomed hens who now get to live out their lives comfortably here in Doddington

All of our birds have been given a second chance at life, so not only are you benefitting from farm fresh eggs, you are also allowing us to rehome more chickens!
Ordering is flexible so you can pause, skip or increase deliveries to suit you

Due to high demand for our individual veg we are now introducing mixed vegetable boxes alongside our egg deliveries! 🥕🧅🥔🥬🥦

Boxes contain a minimum of 7 different types of veg
All veg is fresh, locally grown and delivered to your door free of charge every Thursday
We are supporting British farmers by ensuring they are paid fairly for their produce

The contents of the boxes will vary weekly dependant on the season and availability

You don’t need to be an egg customer to order from us 😊

We have only 3 boxes left this week, first come first served

We have had a few questions asking about how our chickens are housed

All of our birds are free range, nicely demonstrated by some of our girls in the photo 🥰

Our chickens are allowed to roam during daylight hours and are housed at night to protect them from predators

The majority of our eggs come from hens that we have rehomed. These hens used to live commercially, either in caged or barn reared systems.
We have a no cull policy, unlike commercial farms who run a system whereby hens that become too old to lay are killed (72 weeks old). Instead we give these hens a home and allow them to live out their natural life span, regardless of whether they lay eggs or not !

That’s why we are different !

Hello everyone! 👋
I’m really excited to introduce The Fenland Egg Round, a brand-new local service bringing fresh, free-range eggs straight to your doorstep every week across Doddington, Wimblington and Chatteris. With the plans to expand our area in the near future

If you love proper farm-fresh eggs, you’ll love what we’re doing. 🥚
Our eggs come from happy, well-kept hens, and go from the coop in Doddington to your door in no time no long supermarket shelf life, no middleman, just pure Fenland freshness.

Our hens are fed food grown right here in the fens !

Whether you enjoy a fried egg in the morning, baking on the weekend, or just like supporting small local businesses, we’d love to add you to our weekly round.

Here’s how it works:
🚚 We deliver once a week, every Thursday evening
🥚 Eggs are freshly laid and carefully packed
💷 You can pay by cash or bank transfer, whatever’s easiest
📅 You can order weekly or as needed
🚪Eggs are will be left on your doorstep
🍳Eggs are £2 for a box of 6 with free delivery

We’re starting small and local, keeping things personal and friendly.
