Good morning everyone, it's a beautiful morning here today and the Alpacas are enjoying the autumn sunshine and so are the Herdwick sheep. 🐑We all hope you are keeping warm.

We have added some more dates to the calendar for December now and this will include Mince Pies with the alpacas as well as our usual close up encounters with the Alpacas with our Meet and Greets. We will also be doing the Afternoon Tea throughout the winter with alpacas as we have a cosy cabin with a woodbuner for when its wet and cold.

Christmas will soon be with us 🌲so we have vouchers available which can be purchaed online from our website, these make the perfect special gift.

Feeling cold? How about a lovely knitted hat or a pair of fingerless gloves all made from our very own Alpacas. They feel so soft just like our alpacas. 🦙 Another perfect gift for Christmas or maybe treat yourself. Hats are £40, Gloves £35. Did you know Alpaca fibre is one of the most luxurious fleeces in the world. It contains no lanolin and is therefore hypoallergenic.

Looking back at the photos from the summer, look how small, little Rosebud and Rupert were. Little Rupert will join the boy group next spring along with Arthur when they are older and ready to leave their Mum, this wont happen until April or May next year.

They are all growing up nicely.

If you would like to meet our alpacas you can book the "meet and greet" for a close up encounter with the Alpacas and feed them too.

Or maybe you fancy an "afternoon tea with the Alpacas" both these experiences are available throughout the winter.

You do need to book in advance though.

With Christmas fast approaching you may wish to buy a voucher for a special present.

Good morning everyone, its a misty day here today. I've just had cuddles and kisses from our lovely Herdwick sheep, what a great way to start the day.

This time of year we move our alpacas into their winter field and then our lovely sheep go into what was the alpaca field and eat the long areas of grass that the alpacas left. Having sheep graze the fields really does improve the pasture and it also means we don't need to use heavy machinery to top our fields which can damage the ground.

We do all we can to encourge wildlife and work with nature and not against it.

Im sure this is why our animals are so calm and relaxed here, its more like a sanctuary, the animals have no stress and just enjoy each day.

Good morning everyone, I hope you are all well. As many of you know we offer many different experiences to come and meet our lovely Alpacas. We are open througout the winter for Afternoon Teas and Meet and Greets as well as mince pies with the Alpaca's throughout December.

Apart from the experiences we also have some lovely things made from our own alpaca fleece. We have to shear them once a year for their own welfare otherwise their fleece would just keep growing and become very matted. So when we have them sheared we save the fleece and send it to be spun and then we have some things knitted like our lovely hats and fingerless gloves but we also have some beautiful luxury professionally hand woven rugs made, as you can imagine it takes a lot of time and care to make, but what a delight to see such a beautiful rug made from our own alpacas, the perfect place in front of the fire or anywhere special. We have just 3 rugs available and each one is unique. When we do our experiences and sell our products it all helps towards the care of our lovely animals.

I thought you might like to see these beautiful rugs.

Our Alpacas

In the heart of the New Forest, at The Holistic Farm, our beautiful Alpacas live a stress free and happy life. Our aim is to breed quality friendly Suri Alpacas, whilst also giving people the opportunity to meet with them and enjoy their sensitive and lovely nature. We offer a “Meet and Greet” where you can meet them, have your photo taken and enjoy some refreshments. We can offer therapy walking, a chance to walk with an Alpaca, enjoy the surrounding nature which is great therapy, a chance to talk if you wish and enjoy some refreshments afterwards. We are not an open farm, so you would need to book beforehand. We accept individuals and small groups at a time. We look forward to welcoming you.
