We would like to thank Kent Fire and Rescue Service for their prompt response to the fire in Church Field Tudeley yesterday. We are relieved to say no-one was hurt and the fire did not spread to the livery at Bank Farm Stables. Investigations are continuing into the cause of the fire, which started near the pond in Church Field. If you have any information about the incident we would be grateful if you could contact us.
Please remember to be responsible when outdoors during this heatwave when the ground is very dry. The Fire Service advises not to light outdoor fires and not have bbqs or bonfires near dry grass, undergrowth or overhanging branches, as well as avoiding dropping ci******es. We would like to thank the community for their support during harvest and for their concern during this incident.
