It's something I've wanted to do for a long time now but I had some of the plastic ones to use up and it makes far more environmental sense to use what you have before buying more 🌱

Did you know (I didn't) that cellophane is made from cellulose and is environmentally friendly! It's polypropylene that's plastic but cellophane seems to be used interchangeably by companies for both the plant and plastic versions 🤔

Hello, I think it's about time I introduced myself and outed the worst kept secret in tea!

I'm Toni, many of you will recognise me as while others will know my name from replying to emails and some will recognise my face from delivering to all our lovely business customers.
-
I took over Debonair Tea Company quite a while ago now but for various reasons have left the social media rather quiet. I wanted to get a solid grounding for the business and who all the wonderful customers are. But I realised it had unintentionally become a secret that I took it over. As the weeks and months flew past I kept myself busy getting all your lovely orders out and now here we are many months later and I'm only just showing my face.

So I'm here to say a big HELLO and that I'm very pleased and proud to be the one blending your tea and lovingly packaging it up to be sent out to you. I've been blending tea as Chai Wallah Margate for over 7 years now so I like to think I know my way around a chai or herbal infusion or fruit tisane.

I couldn't be more honoured for Louisa to trust her creation with me and to believe that I could continue the amazing business she had worked tirelessly to create. I strive hard to put the tea and customers at the forefront of everything I do and I know everyone who has ordered since I took it over knows and feels that.

We have worked with Louisa from Debonair Tea Company since the very beginnings of Garage and our customers continue to love her loose leaf tea!

Earlier this year we collaborated with Louisa to create a beautiful bespoke blend, exclusive to us. Made with hibiscus, lime leaves & rosehip, it is a sweet, floral brew and super refreshing! 🌹
