Walking with Alpacas Lincolnshire Rescue

Getting ready for this afternoons walk.
As a volunteer its a privilege to be able to look after these boys and get them ready to meet their guests for their wander in the Wolds.

If you have a few hours / a morning / afternoin / day spare and would like to join the Volunteer team please DM the page and details will be sent to you.

The alpacas need your help
We need volunteers

We are looking for people who can offer an hour or a day

Please message me and I will tell you how you help

But in short we need help

People to accompany walks
People to feed and water animals
People to clean enclosures

People to build new fences and enclosures

Help at jumble sales
Help at shows
Help on open days in summer holidays

Help running out annual show weekend

Birch and Oakley attended a wedding yesterday and the wedding and the boys were amazing
The brides were beautiful and guest welcoming

I am going to try to.give you some insight into our days here it's a bit mad as every day may have a core of jobs which need doing but so many other things have to be done as well

So my alarm goes off at 5.30am which is a bit interesting as only fell asleep at 1pm due to the heat

Cup of coffee first, one off my vices

Let dogs out ( very old ) most of them stem from the Labrador rescue days when we were terrible fosters and was keeping all the trouble souls

Feed cats ( too many ) not all mine but leant that I am ed at this time so quiet often findnew ones have joined us

Water fields which dont have auto water
Check sheep and alpacas near home
Feed and water pigs and goats
Horses donkeys and cattle llamas and alpacas that are near my house

8.30 back in for shower and get toddler ready for toddler club
