Devon ➡️ Scotland, 10 days, and 10,000 cows

Tomorrow we are helping Marie Stephenson in her ambitious challenge to milk 10,000 cows in just 10 days while travelling across the UK.

The challenge is raising funds for RABI, a charity that supports farmers and their families through difficult times with practical, financial and emotional help.

At a time when farming faces increasing challenges, from rising costs and market pressures to unpredictable weather, farming can be both demanding and isolating. The long hours, uncertainty and the pressures of running a farm can take their toll, making the support offered by RABI invaluable to many.

We’re proud to be one of many dairy farms across the UK supporting Marie in her goal 🐮

Meet our first calf of the season! She decided to make an early appearance, arriving a couple of weeks early, but at 36kg she’s a healthy weight for a dairy calf 🐮

🐄 Weekend calf rearer vacancy🐄 based at Caenby Corner (Lincolnshire)

It is nearly that time of year again so we looking for calf rearers to join our team.

Roles will include bedding up, feeding calves, identifying health issues and treating them appropriately, moving calves and cows etc. Training can be given but livestock experience preferred.

Our calves are the future of the herd, so excellent attention to detail and a high standard of care are essential!

Duration: start of August - around Christmas time

Days: WEEKEND possibly with some weekdays as illness/holiday cover

⏰ Hours to be arranged and will vary depending on number of calves born per day and as the season progresses
