Not long now and I get to play with baby chicks and ducklings again 🥲💓

We managed to rehabilitate 2 wild ducklings last year and rehome 4 appleyard ducklings that were hatched at a school ! Hopefully we can repeat that this year and have another successful spring 🤞🏻 ideally without the wild ducklings though!

Please keep us in mind when schools hatch ducklings and chicks because I will always take them in and find them a forever home 💓 also please don’t just take a duckling… mum will be around somewhere if it’s been a good hour or more and still no sign then baby has been abandoned… one duckling I found last year was being thrown around by a female who also had ducklings, but I think the baby had gotten lost and tried joining another mum… I waited a while but baby would’ve been killed… so home she came and joined us! Minimal handling kept her as wild as possible 💓

Hi all!!! We’re back!!! Our eggs are coming in thick and fast but are going just as quick. We still have no egg shed, however are selling from the door/pre order ! I’m keeping my eyes open for something we can use as a stand to sell eggs from, but for now this is how we will work.

Today I have 4 boxes of half a dozen available. Still only £1.50 each!

I’ve got some new little chicks coming at the end of February just to make sure our egg supply still stays up, but I may also look into some more rescues once I FINALLY have my new shed ! A lot of you know we have our house on the market, but currently we’re still here and will be here for a while so why not keep up with our eggs 🥚
