British beef producers are “running out of road”, according to the National Beef Association.

In a stark warning to processors and retailers, NBA chief executive Neil Shand said falling farmgate prices are eroding the national herd and pushing more family farms to question their future.

🗣️"Once those cows are gone, once those herds are dispersed, they do not return quickly, if at all."
