We are looking for an experienced Facilitator with counselling/mentoring experience to join our small dynamic team working with children and young people with SEN and SEMH.
We are set in the beautiful countryside near Marlborough in a well established Alternative Provision registered with Wiltshire County Council.
The role involves facilitating therapeutic sessions in a farm setting with animals, woodland and countryside all around.
We have horses, goats, cows, llamas, chickens/ducks. All of which are interactive with our clients. Sessions involve caring for the animals, horse riding, mindfulness, gardening, cookery, bushcrafts, archery, foraging, and taking advantage of the many therapeutic opportunities that arise throughout the day. We also facilitate Level 2 in Animal Care and functional skills Maths and English.
Your skills can include any of the above and/or different skills that would be compatible with our setting.
You would be working primarily 1:1 with students with a whole range of different needs.
You need to be highly motivated and understand the commitment and importance of the work we do and maintain our high standards of Safeguarding.
Working with students and helping them to develop new skills, learning through connection, building confidence and engagement.
Experience of working with children and young people is essential.

This is a self-employed role and requires an enhanced DBS check, safeguarding level 2 and first aid certificate.
