Singer-songwriter Elly Rose Hanson from Marsden performs her own music, blurring the lines between jazz, pop and indie.

1pm 🦜
The Honeybirds are a brilliant 1940s-style close harmony trio, singing songs in the style of The Andrews Sisters.

3pm Finn Booth + friends 🥁
Finn Booth is a Leeds-based drummer regularly seen behind the kit for Nubiyan Twist, Raffy Bushman, Gotts Street Park and Onipa. A high-energy blend of grooves, improv and modern sound-sculpting!

5pm DJ set 🌚
Our own Ruby bringing soul, jazz and electronic music to the decks to keep the party going!

Plus fresh of pints of Märzen l***r (the official b**r of the festival) and delicious food from and 🍺😋

Rumours of our demise are greatly exaggerated - no tent but all gigs going ahead as planned but indoors / in the shelter 👍

All our events on both Saturday and Sunday are free for everyone to attend - we are an inclusive venue and we want everyone to have a brilliant time!

SLIGHT CHANGE OF PLAN 💨🍺🎷

We’ve got a brilliant weekend of PROPER live jazzing + great food + excellent b**r + 🚀 INTERGALACTIC WEIRDNESS lined up for you at the tap, and the party starts TODAY! 🎉

With high wind gusts forecast we can’t safely get the jazz tent up, but we have a plan b and we’re moving the tent action indoors 👍

Open from 12pm today / TheSpicyBiker|IndianStreetFood serving from 3.30pm / live jazz from The Exu in the bar from 8pm! Some tickets for tonight still available at zapatobrewing.com/exu and a few on the door.

And then a phenomenal start to the Zapato programme with double bass master Dave Kane and The Exu from around 8pm in the bar, excellent b**r, dancing, cocktails! 🎉

The trio draw their musical influences from free jazz, grunge, hip hop, bebop + a whole galaxy of experimental music and it’s gonna be amazing! 🪐

🎉 Here we go Marsden Jazz Festival, 4 days to go! LOOK! It’s our full taproom lineup! 👀👀

We'll be putting on our annual big tent party again this year and we've lined up some proper jazz + intergalactic space weirdness for you!
