Five years of The Wynd Craft Beers, which means five years of watching you lot stroll in saying, “I’ve just popped in for one,” and then proceeding to behave like you’re auditioning for a reality show called Britain’s Got No Self‑Control.

Five years of customers insisting they can “taste the citrus notes” when I know full well they’re just guessing.

Five years of me, claiming I’m a “professional” yet somehow managing to break more glasses in a week than you lot have in five years!

And let’s not forget you regulars — you lovable disasters, you architects of tomfoolery — who’ve spent five years causing most of the chaos and then looking genuinely surprised when I ask you to pay for it.

But honestly? I wouldn’t trade this chaotic, lovable circus for anything. Thanks for five years of questionable choices, loud opinions, and unwavering loyalty.
Here’s to the next five years of roasting you all with love, one pint at a time 🍻

Wasn’t going to do a this week because I thought you’d all be completely music-ed out after GLASTONBEERY on Saturday… 🎶

BUT I do feel we need to honour the last five years.

Because somehow The Wynd Craft Beers is **FIVE YEARS OLD** tomorrow 😳

How is it 5 years already??
And, more importantly… why does it also feel so much longer??? 😂

So, this Sunday’s playlist is all about the **last five years**. Anything released from **2021 onwards** gets a ticket to the party.

KENDAL IS CALLING ... AND I MUST GO!!

Shut until Wednesday 5th Aug

🎪 ** ** 🎪

The Wynd Craft Beers will be **closed NEXT week** while I head off to **Kendal Calling**. 🍻🎶

Because sometimes you've just got to swap pulling pints for drinking them ... in the Lakes … in a field … in the rain 😂

We'll probably be:

* Spending £8 on chips and calling it a balanced diet.
* Walking 20,000 steps a day just to go to the toilet.
* Saying "We'll just watch one song..." and somehow ending up there until 3am.
* Convincing ourselves that wet socks are "part of the experience."
* Losing our dignity by Friday (s**t shirts, anyone?) and our voices by Saturday.
* Wondering why we packed a dry robe but forgot toothpaste.
* Returning home with a wristband we'll refuse to take off for at least a fortnight.

Normal service resumes week commencing 3rd August ... assuming we've found the car and I’ve recovered enough to stand behind the bar again. 🍻
