For the hundred and first there could only be one theme: ROOM 101!
So this week, you get to decide which songs deserve to be banished forever… but there’s a catch. 😈
🎵 THE RULES
1️⃣ Nominate THREE songs you would happily send to Room 101.
2️⃣ Tell me why.
They can be genuinely terrible, massively overplayed, deeply irritating or simply songs you irrationally cannot stand.
3️⃣ Nothing is sacred.
Classics, guilty pleasures, Christmas songs, chart hits, indie darlings… everything is fair game.
4️⃣ But there’s a VETO! 🛑
If someone thinks your chosen song(s) absolutely does NOT deserve banishment, they can veto your nomination.
5️⃣ To veto another person's choice, you must make your case.
“Because I like it” is acceptable.
“Because it's objectively brilliant” is encouraged.
“Because [insert name here] has terrible taste” will be considered on its merits. 😂
6️⃣ A veto saves the song from Room 101 and it won't appear on the playlist *this week*.
7️⃣ No repeat nominations.
Once a song has been sent to Room 101, it stays there unless a veto rescues it, so be sure to check others' nominations.
8️⃣ Keep it friendly.
We’re judging songs, not each other. Although some musical opinions may raise eyebrows. 👀
9️⃣ The more controversial, the better.
If your nomination makes someone yell “WHAT?! I LOVE THAT SONG!”, you’re doing it right.
🔟 I have the final say.
Because someone has to referee this musical nonsense. 🍻
