🐄 Weekend Relief Milker Wanted – Marwood, North Devon 🐄
Following our recent advert, we’re pleased to have secured additional cover for our weekday milkings! We’re now looking for an experienced and reliable weekend relief milker to join us on our family farm based in Marwood, near Barnstaple.
We milk around 150 Fleckvieh cows twice a day through a modern 20/20 herringbone parlour. The role involves both milkings alongside general yard work, and we’re looking for someone to become a regular part of the team.
Ideally, we’re looking for someone who can cover weekends on a regular basis, with the possibility of additional work when required.
We’re looking for someone who:
* Has previous milking experience – this is essential
* Is confident working independently
* Is reliable and has good attention to detail
* Ideally has experience with general yard and livestock work, although training can be given
For the right person, there may also be the opportunity to train in pasteurising milk for Marwood Milk, giving some extra variety to the role. And, naturally, the job comes with the added perk of free milkshakes! 🥛😋
Please note that accommodation is not available with this role and we are unable to offer overseas visa sponsorship.
If you’re interested, please send us a private message or email [email protected] to find out more or apply.
Please share with anyone who might be suitable! 🐄
