Apply Cabadex® now for dandelion control!

Autumn is the ideal time to target deep-rooted perennial w**ds.
As w**ds move nutrients down into their roots for winter, Cabadex is carried into the root system, delivering improved control where it matters most.

October conditions make it an excellent time to tackle persistent w**ds such as dandelions and help ensure a cleaner turf next spring.

⚠️ OSR established? Don’t lose momentum on w**d control.

With crops moving well this autumn, now is the time to build on early broad-leaved w**d control and start planning your grassw**d strategy.

In this short video, Corteva Field Technical Manager Hugh Guinan shares practical advice on:
✅ Getting the best from Belkar as w**ds increase in size
✅ Maintaining effective w**d control through autumn
✅ Planning propyzamide applications to maximise grassw**d control

🌾 “Very rarely do you get something that sticks out that quickly for all the right reasons.”

That’s how Andrew Stilwell from Bartholomews Agri Food Ltd describes his experience after first putting Ympact® to the test.

From initial trial plots through to commercial fields, Andrew has seen Ympact support crop establishment and resilience, particularly through some challenging growing seasons.

💬 “We’re seeing it hold up in conditions that expose any weaknesses in establishment, and that’s where it really earns its place.”

Discover more about Andrew’s experience with Ympact and why it’s becoming an increasingly important part of the seed treatment conversation 👇

Every w**d competing with your crop for moisture, light, nutrients and space can reduce vigour, slow canopy development and ultimately impact yield potential. That's why a programme approach to w**d control can pay dividends.

✅ provides the flexibility to assess crop growth and w**d pressure before making treatment decisions, helping remove key broad-leaved w**ds such as cleavers, cranesbill, fumitory, mayw**d and poppies.
✅ Following with later in the autumn completes the programme, delivering reliable grassw**d control alongside additional broad-leaved w**d activity.

Remember, a Belkar followed by Astrokerb programme helps maintain crop competitiveness through establishment, supporting biomass production ahead of winter and maximising the potential of every hectare.

🌱 Looking ahead to the 2027 season!

Amaan, Grace and Rebecca recently joined Tom Rouse, Area Manager for the East of England, on a field walk across Cambridgeshire farms, exploring how growers are balancing end-of-season crop management with drilling of 2027 crops underway. 🚜

The visit included discussions around sugar beet disease pressure and the factors influencing late-season management decisions, as well as a look at newly drilled winter wheat, with fields in excellent condition ahead of establishment for next year's crop.

A great opportunity for some of our team to get out into the field, learn from colleagues and stay connected to the realities of UK agriculture.

It's time for another Instinct® fact of the week!

Did you know Instinct keeps more nitrogen in the soil for longer? Its encapsulated, water-based formulation inhibits bacterial activity for around 10-12 weeks - meaning more nitrogen stays in the ammonium form and less is lost as nitrate through leaching or denitrification.

The result? More nitrogen in the soil, for longer. 🌱

🌱 Autumn is the ideal time to establish new grass reseeds, but it's also the perfect environment for w**d seedlings to thrive.

Docks and chickw**d can quickly compete with young grass plants, reducing establishment and forage potential. Learn how Envy® can help control key broad-leaved w**ds and support cleaner, more productive swards this autumn.

It's Instinct® fact of the week time!

Do you know what type of formulation Instinct is? Instinct is an encapsulated, water-based formulation which means it withstands cold-temperatures better and results in improved tank mix compatibility. 🌡️
