Terms and Conditions
• Please read carefully the following before placing your order. By using any of Sweet Buttercream’s services, you agree to these terms and conditions.
• You must be at least 18 years old to accept the Terms and Conditions. We do not accept orders from persons under this age.
Deposits, Balance of Payments and Cancellation Policy
• A non-refundable 50% deposit (total value of the product and full delivery price if applicable) is required to secure your order and chosen date with Sweet Buttercream.
• Sweet Buttercream’s retain the right to cancel the booking in exceptional circumstances beyond their control, such as fire or ill health, during such times, a full refund of any monies paid will be made as soon as practically possible.
• Cancellations will only be accepted up to 48 hours prior to the agreed delivery or collection.
• Sweet Buttercream cannot guarantee the quality if the product is consumed more than 24 Hours after the event.
• Your products could be kept refrigerated up to 2- 3 days and due to nature of buttercream the products need to be kept at room temperature in a cool dry room before serving.
• Sweet Buttercream will not be held liable if items are not consumed during the recommended time frame or are stored in an incorrect manner. It is the purchaser’s responsibility to ensure the storage conditions are adhered to.
Collection and Delivery
• Products can only be collected from my premises at the prearranged time and date. The collection address for all orders is (TD6 9HJ) and the full address will be supplied to you on placement of your booking.
• Products will only be considered for delivery on orders from £50 and will be subject to availability. Delivery charge is on application and dependant of time and distance to the venue. There is a minimum delivery charge of £3 for up to 15 miles.
• It is your duty to examine the product upon collection/delivery to ensure that the order is intact and that the products have not been damaged in transit, if we make the delivery. We do not accept any liability for product damage once it has left our control.
• You are required to enter full and accurate details for delivery including the name, address and postcode. We will not be responsible for any orders which are not delivered due to incorrect or incomplete information being supplied by you.
• If there is no one present to receive the delivery at the agreed delivery date and time, then it will be deemed a ‘Failed Delivery’. The product will be returned to Sweet Buttercream and you will be responsible for collecting the product from the business premises. I am unable to refund the order cost or delivery charges for failed deliveries.
Allergens
• Please be aware that although ingredients such as nuts and other allergens may not be in the products, they are still used in my kitchen, so Sweet Buttercream cannot guarantee that any of the products are allergen free. If you chose to place an order this will be at your own risk. Professional Food Colours are used in the buttercream in Sweet Buttercream products which vary from product to product depending on the colour choices made. The food colour manufacturers state that various allergens are used in the factories producing their products and therefore cannot guarantee they are allergen free. Food Colourants contain various ingredients and additives which can include the following. If you need information about specific colours for your order, please contact Sweet Buttercream.

Advance Ordering
• To avoid disappointment please give as much notice as possible for your order. However, we will accept short notice orders subject to availability.
• Each product is made to order so although every effort is made to ensure consistency, small variations may occur from the colour and design requested.
Non-edible Items
• Some products contain inedible items. You will be advised if your product has a non-visible product such as cake support dowels. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure these are removed before consumption e.g. support dowels in tiered cakes, ribbons and cake toppers etc.
Publication
Sweet Buttercream reserves the right to use any images of my products for publication on social media and other publications. The copying of any Sweet Buttercream product image for gain is prohibited without prior consent. These Terms will be ruled by and construed in accordance with UK law.
