Whatever name they go by, they're a crop worth celebrating.

International Potato Day was on Saturday, we'd still like to recognise the growers, breeders, agronomists and everyone involved in producing one of the world's most versatile foods.

From breeding programmes and field trials to harvest and the dinner table, potatoes remain at the heart of agriculture and food production.
