We are a small, friendly shop selling beautiful boutique French wines and champagne from small independent wine growers.

You won't find our wines in supermarkets! We also sell artisan cheeses, charcuterie, bread and chutneys from across the UK.

These two new wines (£14 each) are for free tasting this week Frenchvines Shop. The vines are grown in the foothills of beautiful Mount Ventoux in the heart of Provence. The white wine has aromas of lemon, grapefruit and peach. The red wine is fine and elegant with aromas of red fruit. Come and try! We are open 2 till 7pm today and tomorrow in lovely Wymondham.

New in today! This lovely selection of French cheeses selling at less than the normal retail price - Camembert (only £5.50); Cœur de Sevré (goats cheese: £7.50); Margalet (sheep cheese £6); and Roquefort (£5.50). Also, a French variation of pork pie with almonds, pistachio and wild mushrooms (£6.50). Plus two new red wines from the Rhone valley for free tasting in the shop this week including a famous Gigondas. Can you resist?! We are open today and tomorrow 2 till 7.

New in at only £12! This Southern Rhône Rosé organic wine has lovely aromas of small red fruits. It is created by the Cave la Romaine in the heart of Provence - one of the oldest cooperative cellars in the region, founded in 1924. The vines (grenache and cinsault) are grown in deep, sandy clay soils.

We are introducing these 4 new excellent value wines this week.
- Maravenne les Roche (£14): a fresh, organic, delicately fruity, rose wine from Provence
- Chateau Castaing (£12): an aromatic dark red Grand Vin de Bordeaux (hint of blackberries) produced by the Bonnet family (5 generations dating back to 1876)
- Bois de Bonde (£13): a 100% merlot, fresh and fruity easy to drink red wine from the outskirts of St Emilion
- Chateau la Compagnonne 2020 (£11): a grand, intensely fruity, red wine from Bordeaux

New in this week - a highly sought after red wine (pinot noir) with a rich history dating back to the 6th century before champagne was discovered. Bouzy Rouge was regularly served at coronation banquets to French Kings. It was a favourite of Louis XVI, listed in his inventory cellar-book in Versailles. This wine is produced by Herbert Beaufort, independent wine grower, also known for his exceptional champagne. Nathan was invited to join their stand at the recent wine exhibition at Olympia. Bouzy remains one of the few villages in Champagne still going on with the tradition of red wine. It is a wonderful privilege to have this in our shop.
