What a year it’s been…
Whilst we’ve been thrilled to get the washing on the line & dry within an hour (!!!), the state of the ground has been the worst we’ve ever known. 😩

The drought has had a major impact on the farm in terms of productivity…
We haven’t hit our targets for hay, haylage or silage to sell on…
Plus we’ve had to feed the cows their winter stock early…

BUT… Mother Nature is doing her thing & bouncing back! 🙌🏼
We’re hoping to make more silage in the next few weeks… keep your fingers & toes crossed please! 🤞🏼

At last we have had some rain and the cows are enjoying the fresh green grass that has appeared in the last 2 days. 🙌
