Just going to make Tutti Fruiti marmalade, ready for the Horticultural Show at Aylestone Leisure centre next Monday. Hoping that the weather is kind to the exhibitors. Too much rain, wind, sun can all affect the quality of blooms and vegetables!

Good to be back in the Cattle Market after our prolonged Christmas break. Many thanks to our faithful customers for returning to purchase our goods. We were not idle during the break. Marmalade and chutney was made ready for the coming months. So come along and try our wares on 1st april. I for one am hoping to have a good selection of plants to offer after the dearth of growth in recent months.

1st Friday back at Melton Farmers Market is gettring nearer. Jam and marmalade is ready. Need to protect plants from the street rabbit or there will be none left. Need to shop for cakes and savouries. See you on Friday?

After mincepie fever and the Christmas break, Melton Country Market is returning to the Farmers Market in Melton Cattle Market on Friday. We are looking forward to greeting returning customers and new customers. A range of goodies will be on offer. Cooks have been busy making Marmalade and raiding freezers for jam ingredients. Crafters have been busy, sewing, crafting and knitting. Plant producers are hopeful for a display of bulbs. Looking forward to being back at Melton.

Melton Country Market will be at the Farmers Market in Loughborough on Wednesday. Hoping for better weather. Tarpaulin is at the ready. Plants are looking good, lots of colour.

Getting read'y to go to Loughborough Farmers Market on Wednesday. Jam and marmalade are made but need labels. I need more lemons for Lemon Drizzle cakes on Tuesday. All use up in Marmalade yesterday.
