Three events will be held during 2024 to support families across Coventry and Warwickshire, and anyone who wants to better understand autism and find out about local support available.
The conferences will take place on the following dates:
🔹 Saturday 14th September - Coventry
🔹 Saturday 9th November - Nuneaton
🔹 Saturday 7th December - Leamington
These events are open to professionals, family members of autistic children, and autistic adults, however, anyone can attend the conference for inspiring talks, workshops and to meet with your local service representatives.
This is a funded, ticketed event, free to Coventry and Warwickshire residents only.
A number of speakers will feature from across all sectors, including autistic people, and there will be a number of workshops taking place which you can book onto including:
🔹 Young person’s advocate panel hosting a question & answer session
🔹 Sensory support
🔹 Navigating the SEND (Special educational needs and disability) system
🔹 Autism, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD), how these can occur together and strategies to support.
🔹 Autism in girls
Registration for tickets will open 6-weeks before each event.
Further information on how to book on to workshops will be shared closer to the date to all those registered to attend.
