Just over 1 week on from our first Summertime Groove of the summer, we'd like to take the opportunity to thank everyone involved in the set up and organisation in the lead up to the event, the bar and event staff on the day, who worked their arses off despite the rain, all the singers/bands, our amazing headline band The Killerz: World Leading Tribute To The Killers, the legend Tim Gray on sound, Gavala Burger Bar for keeping us fed. A big shout out also to The Aberfan Social Democratic Club for kindly selling tickets behind the bars on our behalf, without who we wouldn't be able to reach such a wide audience! Most importantly though, the biggest thank you goes to YOU the customers who showed up despite the s**t weather, together you share our passion to make this event everything it is. It got a little wet on times, but f**k me we certainly made the most of it 💪🏼

We now look forward tonour second event on 1st August 2026. There still a small number of Early Bird tickets remaining, so get them whilst you can and keep your eyes open for regular posts regarding the event.

Touch rugby is back baby.

Starting tonight and every Thursday 6:30-7:30pm at The Willows Centre Troedyrhiw.

Sessions are undertaken by Grant Davies, ex Wales Touch Rugby player, so whether you're looking to learn new skills, social interaction or to keep the heart and lungs going during the off-season please come along.

Whether you're male, female, dog, cat, all abilities are welcome.....
