We are a family Butchers at the heart of the Midhurst community. Like your food sourced locally?..... We offer a wide variety of free range Beef, Pork, Lamb and Poultry all within a 20 mile radius. During the winter months we are stocked with a selection of local game such as Venison, Pheasant, Mallard and Partridge from the surrounding game shoots. Our Deli counter holds an assortment of cooked m

eats including our own home cooked ham (roasted over night for maximum flavour) and a wide selection of cheeses, some local, as well as the traditional favourites you'd expect to find on any good cheese board. For those nights you don't feel like doing all the cooking, our chef, who uses our meats and recipe, bring you home made pies, sausage rolls, quiches, scotch eggs and pork pies. Alongside the meats and cheeses, we have an outstanding variety of award winning products such as Chutneys, Jams, Sussex Honey, Stuffing Mixes and Gravy to name but a few. The wait is over… our dry ageing cabinet is now fully operational and we’re excited to be filling it with some truly exceptional cuts of beef, lamb and even biltong! 🇿🇦🥩🐑

Using Himalayan salt blocks, our cabinet creates the ideal environment for the dry ageing process. The salt blocks help maintain a clean, stable atmosphere while allowing the meat to naturally develop a deeper, richer flavour and beautifully tender texture over time.

Dry ageing isn’t something that can be rushed—it’s a craft that rewards patience. As each cut matures, moisture slowly evaporates, concentrating the flavour and producing the incredible eating experience that dry-aged beef is famous for.

This is another step in our commitment to bringing you the very best quality meat and constantly investing in new ways to improve what we offer. We can’t wait to share the results with you and take you behind the scenes as these incredible cuts continue to mature.
