Good morning my little starter!
How I have missed this simple pleasure of baking my sourdough bread.
I packed up into several small bags of dehydrated starter back in 2017 from Dubai to England across to Sweden, and then back to Dubai. It’s a well travelled starter. And all with mixed results.
In England and Dubai I managed to bake wonderful loafs of bread. Years of happiness in the form of bread and butter. 😁
It’s a stubborn little starter though. Not at all easy to wake up. I have been feeding and storing, talking to it, being ever so gentle but enough is enough .. for crying out loud…wake up!!!! 😝
Finally, after several days it is beginning to show signs of life. I guess it just goes to show, persistence is the key 🙌
