Beckstones Brewery Located in a remote corner of rural Cumbria under the shadow of Black Combe, this is a modern craft brewery is producing the best cask ales!

Beckstones Brewery offers a wide selection of real ale cask conditioned beer, in which we have many awards to boast. The Brewery was started in 2002 by David Taylor, a man local to Millom with real passion and taste for fine ales. Now run by his apprentice Brewer Tony, Dave takes a back seat but is always on hand with his expert knowledge and know how in the brewing industry. We are best known for

our award winning beer 'Black Dog Freddy' (3.9%) which won Champion Mild of Britain in 2008 as well as 2nd place overall!! We also won the Bronze medal with 'Rev Rob' (4.4%) in the Strong Bitters category in Champion Beer of Britain, 2010. This is not the only award we have won as you will see on our website. We tend to brew twice a week and have a collection of costumers around the Millom area and all across Cumbria although the beer is very sought after we always try to meet demand! So don't be afraid to contact us for an order, we would be more than happy to get some out to you (dependent on availability).
