04.06.26 // LITTLE LUXE BABY SPA, MILTON KEYNES 🇬🇧

AD - PR Experience

Took Emmeline for her first spa day with at this week!

Becky has curated the loveliest, most relaxing experience for babies and their mamas. It was such a cute way to help my little girl find a bit of fun in bathtime (not usually her favourite activity...), with bubbles and light up toys which she obviously had to chomp.

After bathtime we were led through some simple baby massage techniques using sunflower oil to help relax our little ones even more! We also had the chance to take stamps off our baby's feet as a previous keepsake from the feast, which was the sweetest touch to the whole class.

Obviously I had to have a mini photoshoot with Emmeline in a baby robe at the end (but we didn't get a chance to pose in the fancy baby spa chair because someone needed to get home for a nap 😴 🧖🏻‍♀️

02.06.26 // SILVER PALATE, BERKHAMSTED 🇬🇧

Emmeline and I visited Ben at work in Berko this week, which obviously meant going out for lunch in one of the town's many cafés and restaurants. We chose because, as an American, I'm a sucker for a proper deli sandwich. And you better believe these are some really good deli sandwiches!

We had:
1. New York Deli - a great riff on a Reuben
3. Oat iced lattes
5. The Italian

These were some of the best sandwiches I've had in the UK, and the coffee was lovely too!

They've also got a gorgeous spread of local and Italian pantry items! Think traditional dried pastas, vats of pesto, local honey, and gourmet granolas.

What a lunch! 🥪☕

21.05.26 // THE MUM CLUB BRUNCH, MILTON KEYNES 🇬🇧

Went to my first event yesterday and it was an absolute treat! A bunch of the mums from our .happybaby antenatal class all met up and turned the brunch at into a mini reunion 🥹

It's a shame that the Willen café is closing, because not only was the events space lovely, the food and drink were nice too. I had the breakfast wrap which came with a delicious hash brown, and I couldn't fault the iced oat latte either.

We were all treated to a little goody bag with some electrolytes and a packet of baby wipes (we ran out yesterday so this came just in time lol), as well as a little cake from , and a make-your-own bouquet station by .arrangements !

All in all, a beautifully wholesome morning with our babies 🌯☕💐🤱🏻

07.05.26 // GREAT GELATO, STONY STRATFORD 🇬🇧

Celebrated three months of Emmeline (and three months of parenthood) yesterday by taking a walk to Stony Stratford to collect some cookies and a coffee from ! Leaned into a classic motherhood trope on the way home by extending the walk to get as long a pram nap out of her as possible 😂

I brought home to share with Ben:
1. Cinnamon roll NYC cookie - a new fave!
2. Oreo cookie cup - an old favorite

I got an oat flat white for the walk home and opted for which was lovely! They also have .coffee but I'd already had some Concrete Cowboy with my breakfast.

A small but delicious way to mark a milestone! 🥰🍪☕

04-05.26 // MAT LEAVE DIARIES PT. 2 ☀️

Spent this week getting back into a more normal routine after a week away on holiday in Ireland! It consisted of walks around my favourite paths putting the through its paces, revelling in the spring sunshine and flowers, enjoying local treats, and being amazed at every new little thing my baby girl has learned how to do in the last few weeks.

1. Calling it now - iced matcha with coconut milk from is my drink of the summer

and

3. Jammie Dodger blondies from are a revelation

Not pictured: a gorgeous mum & baby reformer class at led by who's recently had a baby of her own so knew exactly what we all needed. Haven't felt as loose as I did walking home since probably the 2nd trimester! And Emmeline was so happy to lay on her playmat and watch everyone else work out on the machines around her 😂

08.04.26 // FRENCH AFFAIRE, STONY STRATFORD 🇬🇧

Took Emmeline to the first girl's brunch of her little life this week! We took advantage of 2 of her local aunties having time off work to go for a walk around Stony Stratford, along the river, and down to for crêpes and iced lattes in the sunshine on what turned out to be the nicest day of the year so far.

I had an Eggs Royale crêpe with an iced oat latte and it was just perfect. I've always loved French Affaire's vegan crêpes as a great dairy free alternative, but while I'm still able to enjoy dairy I made sure to have the real deal and it was such a treat. They don't scrimp on smoked salmon and their homemade hollandaise is just lovely.

We of course sat outside to make the most of the glorious weather, and it turns out French Affaire's patio has plenty of space to tuck a pram out of the way as well. And a good sized pop out changing table in the bathroom made it perfectly accessible for little ones too!

remains one of the best brunch spots in Milton Keynes! 🥞☕☀️

24+26.03.26 // MAT LEAVE DIARIES PT. 1 🇬🇧

Welcome to this new series where I will occasionally be sharing mat leave outings as I think about it/have the time lol

First up:
1. - got a lovely oat flat white and an incredible Oreo brownie. Saw a couple having all day breakfasts which looked really good! Fit the pram in fine because it was the afternoon and relatively empty, but would struggle to find space at breakfast or lunch. Also no changing table in the loos! So a cheeky table change was needed 😅

2. - had a great fish goujon sandwich! They do a £13 lunch deal during the week including a sandwich, a side, and a regular drink and there was no skimping on the food for that deal. Also the changing room was good - clean and spacious. Obviously not an indie but we also fit 4 mums, 4 prams, and 4 babies around a booth and didn't feel in the way at all, in fact they were very welcoming! 🥰

Let me know where I should try next? 🙏🏻

03.26 // STONY STRATFORD 🇬🇧

A gorgeous early spring week in Stony!

First mother-daughter trip to trip of many of this mat leave, and the first iced oat latte of the year! Also featuring a cheese scone from . I will be trying and reviewing all of their cakes before the year is out, so watch this space!

The magnolias are in full bloom and the sun was shining.

And a sunny week is not complete without an ice cream from ! I got chocolate and it's one of the best chocolate ice creams I've had, on a par with 's (my other favourite chocolate ice cream). Super chocolatey and creamy. Ben got the mini eggs gelato which was also lovely - a gorgeous vanilla base and plenty of mini egg pieces.

What a week! ☕🍦💐
