Go behind the scenes at Bucks Star (now rescheduled to Fri 19th June) 🍺

Arrive from 6:20pm for a 6:30pm start before heading into the brewery for a guided tour, where we’ll walk you through the brewing process, the ingredients we use, and what goes into producing fresh, clean-tasting beer.

After the tour, enjoy sampling a range of Bucks Star brews, with light nibbles included and plenty of opportunity to ask questions along the way.

A great evening for beer lovers and anyone curious about what happens behind the brewery doors.

Did you know that the original Persian calendar is believed to be rooted in the coronation of Cyrus the Great? That means this Nowruz, we transition from the year 2685 to 2686 — a beautiful reminder of a heritage that stretches back millennia 🌱

Meanwhile, behind the scenes, our next batch of Shiraz Lager is quietly conditioning 🍺

What makes it different? Beyond being artisan-crafted, it’s one of the very few lagers that is both unfiltered and unpasteurised — meaning all the natural character, flavour, and goodness remain intact. Nowruz means "New Day" and is a celebration of the arrival of Spring and the Persian New Year, dating back over 3,000 years. It begins at the spring equinox when day and night are equal. A moment which reminds us that light always returns.

The Haft Seen are 7 symbolic items presented on a table which represent life, patience, health, prosperity and renewal.

Poetry is recited by Iran's famous poets such as Saadi, Hafez or Rumi. This poem by Hafez, "Bia ta gol barafshanim", is a great opportunity to drink Shiraz Lager.

"Come, let us scatter flowers and fill the cup with drink; let us break the roof to heaven and create a new design."
