Good morning sunny Mirfield

We are serving Sunday roast tomorrow and apologies to anyone who missed out last week as we did limit servings given our first week back doing them but we are ramping them up this week 😉

Also, as everything is prepared and cooked from scratch early Sunday morning, we are also now offering cold takeout dinners that can be picked up from 10am on Sundays to be reheated at whatever time suits you and these come in a foil tray that can be just popped in the oven.

Hot dinners to eat in or takeaway will be served from 11.30 - 1.30

As always though we do urge you to pre-order as we can’t guarantee walk ins.

Mashed potato
Sausagemeat stuffing
Buttered carrots and sweetheart cabbage

Good evening

Tommorow we are starting our Sunday Lunches again. Probably enough for approximately 10 - 12 dinners....so you need to be fast on this one...

Slow roasted beef joint,
Roast pork/roast chicken and sausagemeat stuffing

Duck fat roast potatoes
Maris piper mashed potatoes

Freshly prepared carrots, sweetheart cabbage and broccoli and of course topped with a homemade yorkshire pudding and rich gravy made with all the juices. Available to sit in from 12pm - last orders 1pm. Or takeout - collection no later than 1.30pm.

Please note our closing time is now 2pm on a Sunday.

You can send a message via Facebook messenger or call the cafe from 8am to order.

Good Morning Lovely people

Well there's almost a smell of autumn in the air......may have to dig out the winter woolies soon......

On that note we have a delicious homemade Steak mince cottage pie today served with sweetheart cabbage and chunky carrots 🥕 - add a big homemade yorkshire pudding for just £1 extra....topped with rich thick beef gravy...preorders are welcome by telephone....

Ready for the oven .. 😋

Good morning sunny Mirfield ❤️

We are open today from 8 till 1.30ish 😉

Along with our full menu today we have a hot roast pork sandwich (huge sub roll 😋) with stuffing or apple sauce (or both) with a side of homemade crispy duck fat roast potatoes and also a side of dipping gravy

Good Morning Everyone - seems we have 2 of our flower baskets missing this morning. They may have mysteriously fallen into someone's boot or grown legs and found a new home - if by chance you have seen anybody with these which are in white tubs (see below picture with the 2 that remain and the 2 missing) please inform us. Maybe we could get them back home.....where they belong....alot of effort has been put in to making the outside area more inviting and colourful and when someone comes along and spoils that it makes you feel like "what's the point". Thankyou for reading this rant

Good morning everyone - nice to have some much needed rain...would never have thought we would be saying that.....

So today we have loaded oven baked Jacket potatoes....

Fillings:

Homemade coleslaw
Tuna mayo and sweetcorn Tuna mayo and red onion
Chicken mayo with crispy bacon
Homemade chilli
Beans and cheese with spicy Siracha

With butter (optional) and side salad (optional)

Lots of homemade cakes to try....if you're a cheesecake lover then you must try our homemade lemon cheesecake which is very popular or gooey chocolate cake with Nutella topping....

Hope you all have a much cooler day....

Good morning everyone....

Well it appears we have something unknown falling out of the sky......think they call it rain - 🌧......does anyone remember what it looks like ? 🤣🤣🤣🤣

On a much needed cooler and damp Sunday we are open from 8.30am til 1.30 - 2ish serving our regular menu but dont despair - our Sunday Lunch will be back very soon...chairs and tables are out with the parasols....probably need a good wash down......not sure you'll be wanting to sit out.....but it looks nice 😀..
