Kitchen Flowers www.kitchenflowers.co.uk. Food products made with edible flowers, many home grown in our garden. It also goes well with soft/creamy cheeses.

Rose Petal, Lavender & Elderflower Jellies - condiment for cheese/meats or use as a sweet jam
Syrups, vinegars and dried flower cooking seasonings. Rose Petal Jelly - great with white breads (e.g.baguette, pitta bread or ciabatta). Goes well with anything involving cream; scones and cream; ice cream; a cake filling; dolloped into creamed rice. Elderflower Jelly - substitute for honey or marmalad

e. It also goes well with an aged hard cheese. Lavender Jelly - great as a cake filling or just on toast. Also goes well with cold meats such as cold pork sausages, or with roast pork. A useful accompaniment on the cheese board.

Next to the rose garden is our woodland garden. My sister gave us a bird box for Christmas and it has new inhabitants. Something to watch while we patiently wait for the roses to fully bloom to make our Rose Petal Jelly. We have orders waiting!
