The time has come…
After 6 years of enjoyable catering for lovely clients, MT Plates will soon cease operations.
From our first forays with, our now friends, at Hummingbirds, and on to Weddings, Birthdays, Celebrations and Secret Gatherings – It has been a fun, rewarding and exciting adventure… but also very hard work.
And so, from 1st April Tanya and I will be hanging up the aprons, switching off the sous-vide, storing the many, many plates and closing the pages on the cookbooks (well – perhaps not that last one).
Now, of course, that does not mean we will stop cooking altogether. That would be silly.
Friends, family, guests and our most loyal clients (you know who you are) are the people we most love to cook for; and so we will always be open to inviting them round or serving them at their homes… it will just not be as a formal business… and perhaps we will still offer the occasional charity dinner if asked.
Thank you to all we have catered for over the past few years and also a heartfelt thanks to those who have worked with us. It has been a wonderful experience and a pleasure to meet you all. I do hope you have enjoyed our offerings and, should you have a hankering in the future, we still have contacts and MasterChef contestants that we can put you in contact with.
