The last few months have been absolutely crazy and I’ve hardly had the time to post anything so here’s a wee update with everything that’s been going on!

We have changed our flour supplier to Wildfarmed during March, all of our pasta is now made with a mix of two Wildfarmed flours. This has improved the texture and appearance of our pasta which is great and also has an amazing taste! Wildfarmed use regenerative farming techniques to do what’s best for the crop and the environment the crop is grown in, so good all round!

Back in January my old trusty pasta machine gave up on me and imploded while making pasta! That was kind of key to running a pasta company! After a huge panic I managed to source a small pasta machine that kept me going and pasta going out the door while I was working on a bigger and better solution!

Just before Easter an exciting parcel arrived in a huge wooden crate, my new pasta machine, this machine can help me produce much more pasta in the very short time I have available for pasta making which is great! All our pasta is extruded through bronze cast dyes giving a rougher surface which allows sauce to adhere to the pasta and gives a better taste! We have also released a new pasta shape, this went down really well at the Dumfries Farmers' Market last weekend and will be available at Moffat Farmers' Market this weekend! With launch onto the website in the next week or so!

Come down and see us on Sunday, it’s going to be the biggest Moffat Farmers' Market so far with a huge list of traders announced yesterday!

Merry Christmas and happy new year! I hope you all had a good one, we did, busy visiting family and friends and eating lots of very good food.

I hope anyone that was gifted Pasta Palette Pasta for Christmas has enjoyed it so far!

I’ve been working away on a few ideas over the break including new pasta shapes, gift boxes and custom orders. I will be asking questions on my stories this week so keep your eye out.

Moffat Farmers Market, it was bitterly cold but thoroughly enjoyable and almost a sell out! We will be back in December!

Our next market is the Annan Rugby Club Christmas Market on Friday 29th November so stock building starts tomorrow!
