Most non-alc wines are exactly that, wine without the alcohol. That’s why we got so excited at Positive Drinks HQ when we tried NON because the bottles are something else entirely. Wine doesn’t really do justice to what you’re drinking. They’ve taken the idea of wine and reimagined it from the bottom up. Ever think of wines with florality and red fruit? Well, NON1 uses whole raspberries and mixes them with verjus, cane sugar and camomile to create something that could be rosé but is actually not rosé at all.
Same goes for NON7, which uses blackberry and cloves to play to the spiciness of a deep red wine.
Finally, NON3 uses whole oranges and yuzu for a bright, citric and zesty version of white wine.
Putting these wines into words is really very tricky. Putting them into your glass, however, is not. Recommend trying the latter then come back to us on the former.
