This golden Charolais heifer calf was purchased from market a few weeks ago she is golden in colour and nature!💛 She blends into the straw when asleep and it looks like she is missing!
Calf rearing is in full swing and Bridgette has plenty to entertain her!😅
My Auntie said she looks like a Caramac Calf!😍🍫

Happy New Year from all of us at Windmill Agri!
We ended 2025 with two litters! One from Dotty the original sow and Clarissa the Countryfile star pig having her first! ⭐️

Here are photos from the year starting with our orphan piglets, the sweetest nightmare to happen, to end of this year we have ended with four more piglets fed by us as Dotty couldn’t cope with the amount of piglets she had.

In between we reared orphan lambs for the meat sales, beef herd ticked along nicely with 75 AAX calves bought in at a week old to finish on our system, trialled and succeeded with a new milk feeding routine in pens of nine🐮.

Went to agricultural shows with the LotofDots herd of Oxford Sandy & Black pigs and had lots of fun!

Dad completed his Same Laser tractor at long last, taking it on a few outings to Yeovil Ploughing Society match, Crewkerne YFC ploughing match and a tractor run.

Our Diesel dog passed away at twelve years old, a very missed lad he was a big character and always knew how to outsmart humans escaping and opening garden gates when he smelt a BBQ!

We look forward to delivering our quality meat straight from our farm to your plate this year and wish everyone a brilliant 2026!
