Arbikie Distillery

Arbikie Distillery At Arbikie, on Scotland's sunny, fertile east coast, we grow & distil our family of luxury, single estate spirits. You can also now stay on-site.
(311)

We also host tours/experiences daily, with locally-sourced food & drink in the Arbikie Distillery Experience. Arbikie is unique. We are the first single-estate distillery in Scotland to produce both white & brown spirits using traditional Scotch distilling methods and equipment. We grow, distil, mature & bottle our family of spirits at the Arbikie Farm Distillery- giving exceptional provenance & t

raceability. All their spirits are copper-pot distilled to ensure the same quality & standing enjoyed by Scotch whisky globally. Our family of sustainable, field-to-bottle spirits that include: Nadar, the world's first climate-positive gin & vodka and our Highland Rye, the world's only Rye Scotch Whisky. We also distil Kirsty's Gin made with local sea kelp which won gold at the World Spirit Awards & AK's Gin made from honey & Viscount wheat farmed at Arbikie. Our Potato Vodka which was included in GQ Magazine's 'World's Best Vodkas' while our fresh Strawberry & Chilli vodkas are very popular for making a range of cocktails, including Smoky Bloody Mary's. Do come & visit our new Distillery Experience just north of Dundee and south of Aberdeen, only 1 1/2 hours from Edinburgh and 2 hours from Glasgow by train or car.

Fun fact: the kelp in Kirsty's Gin is hand-harvested from the shores of Lunan Bay, just a stone's throw from the distillery. 🌊

It's that touch of the sea - alongside the other botanicals from the land around us - that gives Kirsty's its fresh, maritime edge. Field (and shore) to bottle.

The world's best bartenders are already making the switch. Are you?

Nàdar Gin & Vodka are the world's first climate positive spirits - distilled from Scottish peas and oats, grown right here on our Angus coast farm, and verified net negative in carbon. Not a claim. A certification.

The drinks industry is changing. Join the movement.

"Inspired by nature. For climate. For our future." - that's the theme for World Environment Day 2026. For us, it's just a normal Tuesday.

Sustainability at Arbikie isn't a campaign. It's written into every part of how we farm, distil and operate - from the world's first climate positive spirits, to 84% self-generated electricity, to food waste that goes back into the soil it came from - and have you seen our electric van? It's pretty cool!

We're proud of what we've built. But we know there's always more to do.

Not all Negronis are created equal.

Swap in Kirsty's Gin and you'll taste the difference immediately. The creamy base softens the bitterness, the kelp adds a coastal depth, the blaeberries bring a subtle fruitiness, and the black pepper cuts through with a warmth that lingers long after the last sip.

A Negroni built from the fields, rocks and sea of the Angus coast. As bold as the view. 🥃

This is what switching off actually looks like.

A mirror pod on the edge of our Angus coast farm. A hot tub with views to the North Sea. Breakfast in bed while the fields wake up around you. Evening cocktails as the sun goes down over Lunan Bay. And a very unbothered Highland cow for company.

The Midas Oodhouse. Available to book - link in bio.

It starts in the soil of an Angus farm. Blaeberries on the hillside. Kelp on the shoreline. Carline thistle breaking through the rock.

Kirsty Black - our Master Distiller - picks each botanical, distils the spirit from our own estate-grown crops, and bottles every drop right here on the Scottish east coast.

Then it travels. From our fields to bar shelves around the world - poured into cocktails, mixed with tonic, garnished with blueberries and lemon - carrying a little piece of this coastline with it wherever it lands.

That's Kirsty's Gin. Field to bottle. Angus to everywhere.
