As most of you are aware the building we’re in is being sold, So we have made the decision to close the doors at the end of this month ☹️ but We will all be moving across to Marula Monkey which opens on May 1st (🤞🏻)

We really want to go out with a bang so have decided to do a 20% offer off food till we close! Yes…. that’s for the next few weeks and the offer starts from Thursday 11th April 🥳

We would advise that anyone with vouchers please make sure to book in and get them used as they wont be valid at Marula Monkey

Last chance to book in for our pop up restaurant inspired by our new upcoming business Marula Monkey. Please get in touch if you would like to book in for this evening. The event will be held at The George and Dragon in Lancaster. With lots of dishes of what is to be expected at Marula Monkey. 🐒🐒🐒

Marula Monkey take-over the G&D tonight.
We still have a few spaces left between 8pm and 8.45pm folks if you haven't booked yet. Walk-ins are also accepted but please understand bookings will be prioritised.

Set up is simple, same as last time. Kris from Marula Monkey will be running the floor this evening and will be taking your food orders and payments for food.

The bar will be for drinks only no food orders to be placed at the bar or by G&D staff. Simply pop up to the bar for whatever drinks you fancy this evening with your meals

We are very excited about this evening, not only to be working alongside our friends again but to be a part of their relaunch as they start this exciting new business!

NEWS IS OUT.

So you may be aware that the building we are in is up for sale and we have been given notice to vacate. We will still be open for the next few months and will keep you updated.

Luckily for us an opportunity has arisen and we will be opening a brand new cocktail bar and restaurant in Lancaster City Centre in May. We have decided to expand from being purely South African and will be doing international food and drink, serving brunch, dinner and a range of great cocktails too.

The whole team here will eventually make the move over to Marula Monkey. We would all like to thank you all for your valued support and hope you’ll continue to support us in the future.

It’s time to celebrate those super important ladies in our lives! We still have spaces left but we are filling up fast so book to avoid disappointment.
