Friday nights at Herd have become a bit of a thing

Burger Night happens just four times a month, and tables have a habit of filling up fast. Our own Todenham beef, double and triple stacked burgers, fried chicken, halloumi and plenty of fries.

If you’re looking for Friday night plans this September, this is one worth getting in the diary early.

Our Aberdeen Angus x South Devonshire cattle are raised here in the North Cotswolds, before the beef is butchered and dry aged right here on the farm.

Kitchen Assistant - Herd at Todenham Manor Farm

We’re looking for a Kitchen Assistant to join our small friendly team here at Herd.

At the heart of Todenham Manor Farm, we’re all about great ingredients, seasonal cooking and serving food we’re proud of.

As our Kitchen Assistant, you’ll be an important part of the kitchen team, helping with food preparation, keeping the kitchen clean and organised, washing up, receiving deliveries and getting stuck in wherever you’re needed during service.

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Enthusiastic, hardworking and reliable
• Happy working as part of a close-knit team
• Organised and comfortable in a busy kitchen
• Interested in good food and where it comes from
• Keen to learn and develop their skills

Previous kitchen experience would be helpful, but it isn’t essential. A good attitude, reliability and a willingness to learn matter just as much.
You’ll be joining a small team where everyone plays an important part, working with some fantastic ingredients and learning first-hand what it’s like to cook in a restaurant at the heart of a working Cotswolds farm.

One of the best things about shopping at our butcher’s counter is you don’t need to know exactly what you’re looking for.

Tell Cam and the team what you’re cooking, how many people you’re feeding or what you’d like to spend, and they can help you choose the right cut, suggest something you might not have considered and get it prepared just how you need it.

That’s a big part of what our Farm Shop is here for. Good meat, raised here on the farm, and the people behind the counter who know it really well.

There’s something quite special about knowing where your food comes from.

At Todenham Manor Farm, the farm, Farm Shop and Herd aren’t separate things. They’re all part of the same place, and that connection runs through much of what we do.

Our chefs cook with beef and lamb raised here on the farm. They can walk into the Farm Shop to see what’s fresh, what’s in season and what looks particularly good that day. Many of the same ingredients used in the restaurant are here for you to take home too.

It’s a simple connection, but one we’re really proud of. The farm supplies the shop and the restaurant, the restaurant makes the most of what’s around it, and you get to enjoy it whether you’re eating with us or shopping for home.

So whether you come for breakfast, pick up something for dinner, join us on a Friday evening or come for Sunday lunch, it’s all part of the same Todenham Manor Farm.

Good food, a working farm and a Farm Shop full of things we genuinely love. All in one place.

There are plenty of ways to spend a weekend in the Cotswolds, but few quite like this.

Start your day with breakfast from 9am, settle in for lunch overlooking the farm, or simply call in for coffee and cake whenever the mood takes you.

As the weekend unfolds, Friday evenings are all about Burger Night from 5pm, Saturdays are for our seasonal à la carte menu, and Sundays finish the week with our much-loved Sunday roast.

Whether you’re joining us for breakfast, dinner or just an hour in the sunshine, we’d love to welcome you to the farm this August.

Todenham Manor Farm is home to more than farming.

Over the past few years, we’ve welcomed a growing community of businesses that have chosen to base themselves here, enjoying the space, the setting and a working farm environment.

We still have a small number of storage spaces available, including 8000sqft and 1000sqft secure indoor storage as well as open storage, with flexible options to suit a range of needs.
