SAUSAGE WEEK IS BACK

Our sausages have become a bit legendary at The Barn on The Bay. Our team go absolutely wild for them and have even been known to fight over them.

Not naming names… but Emily and Sasha, we’re looking at you!

SMOKESIDE SAUSAGE SUNDAY

From smoky Texas hot links and cheesy Austrian Käsekrainers to classic Cumberland sausages with all the trimmings, we’ve got a proper feast lined up.

OUR SAUSAGES ARE A BIT LEGENDARY…

If you’ve eaten at The Barn, you’ll know our sausages have developed quite a reputation. In fact, they’re one of the things we’re asked about most!

So, with Oktoberfest in full swing, we thought it was about time we gave them their very own celebration this weekend.

Introducing SMOKESIDE SAUSAGE FEST, this Sunday at The Barn on The Bay!

We’ve put together a special menu celebrating everything we love about a proper sausage, from spicy, smoky Texas hot links to Austrian Käsekrainers stuffed with melting Swiss cheese, and a good old-fashioned Cumberland with all the trimmings.

There’s a plant-based option too, along with some rather special homemade sausage rolls.

And because you can’t have an Oktoberfest-inspired celebration without b**r, we’re offering half-price pints when you order any sausage main.

Whether you’re joining us after a walk on the beach or coming especially for the food, settle in, grab a pint and enjoy a proper Sunday at The Barn.

THE CHICKEN EDITION IS BACK FOR ANOTHER WEEK!

It went down so well last week that we’re bringing the Chicken Edition back for one more Sunday.

Serving 12–2.30pm, this will be your last chance to try this Smokeside Edition this year, before Chef Dan switches things up and we move into our new seasonal menu next week.

But Sundays at The Barn on The Bay are about much more than lunch. Come down to the farm, grab a coffee, take a wander to the beach, bring the dog, meet friends, settle in for something good to eat and stay for a drink at the bar.

No rush, no need to dress up — just an easy Sunday by the Bay.

Coffee from 10am.

And while our summer Sundays might be changing, we’re definitely not disappearing for winter. We’ve got news coming very soon about new seasonal food, more days at the Barn and extended winter opening times.

This Sunday’s Smokeside Fried Chicken Edition has four buns on the menu:

Bacon Jam Chicken
Frank’s Hot Chicken 🌶️
Hot Honey & Halloumi Chicken
Pulled BBQ Jackfruit 🌱

£13 each, served with chicken salt fries or house-seasoned fries.
