Three days, two brilliant food takeovers and one very good reason to get down early. Here’s what’s happening:

SATURDAY
We’re closed for a private event 💍

SUNDAY — SMOKESIDE PIE WEEK 🥧
Dan’s homemade pies are landing, packed with proper comfort food and a serious Smokeside twist.

🔥 Tex-Mex Pulled Brisket Pie
Slow-smoked pulled brisket, smoked cheese, ancho chilli, dill pickles, creamy mash & rich birria gravy.

🔥 Chicken, Ham, Leek & Mushroom Pie
Chicken, ham, leek & mushroom with garlic and fennel seed crumb, creamy mash & proper gravy.

🔥 Lamb Keema Pie
Spiced lamb keema topped with bhaji-style crispy onions, served with chaat masala spiced fries & cooling mint raita.

🌱 Plant-Based BBQ Pie
Smoky BBQ pit beans, sticky date jackfruit, plant-based sausage & Applewood-style cheese.

And yes, there’s more: house seasoned fries, honey-glazed carrots, cauliflower cheese and plenty of sides to complete the feast.

Come hungry, arrive early and grab your favourite before it’s gone.

MONDAY — AUPA STREETFOOD 🇪🇸
Aupa are back at the barn for Bank Holiday Monday, bringing their brilliant street food to the Cowshed.

🍻 Bar open all day

No bookings — just turn up and tuck in. We’re a pop-up cooking in limited numbers, so when it’s gone, it’s gone. If you’ve got your heart set on one of Dan’s pies, don’t hang about.

Beach walk, coffee, a pint and a seriously good feed. Tag your Bank Holiday crew and make a day of it. 🌊🔥

This Sunday it’s FLATBREAD WEEK at Smokeside 🤤

Think warm flatbreads piled high with all the good stuff…

🔥 Pulled beef, grilled peppers & onions, cheese sauce + candied jalapeños
🔥 Greek-style pulled chicken, halloumi + tzatziki
🔥 BBQ pulled pork, maple bacon, peach + chipotle mayo
🌿 Roast veg, halloumi + garlic & lemon hummus

Plus sticky ribs, loaded Smokeside dogs, triple-cooked chips, corn ribs and our frankly dangerous smoked crispy chicken skin with blue cheese ranch.

And yes… confit garlic & cheese flatbread on the side. Because apparently there is such a thing as needing a flatbread with your flatbread. 😂

Smokeside is back every Sunday throughout August — with a completely different twist each week.

Don’t forget for extra heat sauna_hetta is open Sundays too. Sauna & Smokeside - perfect combo!

This Sunday one of our favourite local products Buston Farms Ltd is getting the full Smokeside treatment.

🥔 Slow-Smoked Beef Brisket
🥔 Pulled Chicken, Chorizo & Avocado Crema
🥔 Plant-Based Pit Beans & Sticky BBQ Jackfruit

All loaded onto smoked Buston potatoes with house-smoked butter and fresh slaw.

Plus there’s pulled lamb hash, the Smokeside dog, caramelised white onion & potato soup, triple-cooked chips, cheesy jalapeño focaccia and plenty for the kids.

DM to book a table for 4+ guests.
