Is this the guilty face of a sandwich thief?

This morning the electrician left a bag containing his sandwich, outside the kitchen.

I found the bag fairly close to where it had been left. It contained some crumpled up foil and a slice of bread. The cold meat had vanished. 🤔

This is the prime suspect in the Great Sandwich Heist!!

Got my sheep vaccinated for Blue Tongue today. Blue tongue is a virus spread by biting midges.
It hasn’t reached Scotland yet but looking at the map of reported cases it won’t be long.

The death rate is really high in sheep, up to 70% of infected animals but in vaccinated sheep this drops to 1-2%.
Although the vaccine is expensive it’s just not worth taking the risk. Our lovely vet Nyomi,arranged a bottle share with another local farmer which helps keep costs down ❤️

Trainee shepherd Katrina helped me today 😃 We sorted a few lambs who are ready to go tomorrow, clipped some dirty bums and gave all the sheep the once over.

Red mites.

The bane of every poultry keepers life. I found a small pocket of mites in the hen house this morning.
They’re nasty wee parasites that bite the hens and suck their blood at night.

So moved that house out and a clean house in. Complete muckout of the bedding, and a
Bonfire to ensure the mites are gone 🔥🔥🔥
