💙 A Very Sad Announcement from Junior’s Sports Bar 💙

It is with the heaviest of hearts that we share the incredibly sad news of the passing of our beloved Shug McPherson, peacefully but suddenly at Wishaw General Hospital on Friday 7th August.

Shug was also affectionately known as Junior, and for those of us at Junior’s Sports Bar, that name means so much.

Shug was Jamie’s dad, and our bar was named after him and his grandson Jamie, who is also known as Junior. The name, the family and the story behind Junior’s have always been at the very heart of what we are.

Shug was a much-loved dad, grandad, and great-grandad, family man and friend, and his loss will be felt deeply by everyone who knew him.

Our thoughts, love and deepest condolences are with Jamie, Seonaid and all of Shug’s family and friends at this heartbreaking time.

The name Junior’s will forever carry a part of Shug with it, and his memory will live on in the family, the bar and in all the memories shared over the years.

Rest peacefully, Shug 💙
