One of the Highland's top "Pick Your Own" farms, with a farm shop offering fresh fruit and vegetables, homemade cakes and traybakes, Very Berry Ice Cream and much more! You can also pick your own top quality fruit and enjoy a walk round our farm to see the huge variety of fruit and vegetables growing in our fields and polytunnels. The Farm

Shop opens from early June each year for the sale of rhubarb and early season strawberries produced inside polytunnels. By the end of June the outside field strawberries and gooseberries are picking and 'pick your own' is open to the public. As the season progresses, raspberries, black, red and white currents, logan and tayberries, brambles, apples and plums become available. Different grades of ready picked strawberries and raspberries are on sale (dessert or jam quality). The Farm Shop also sells home-grown potatoes and vegetables in season:- beans, beetroot, broccoli, cabbage, carrots, cauliflowers, leeks, onions, parsnips, peas, sprouts, swedes and turnips. Free range eggs are also sold along with home-made jam and honey. Telephone orders most welcome.

In Ireland, crispy onions are practically the holy grail! ๐Ÿคค

I came across ONiT Onions, an award-winning Irish food producer from Limavady, while I was at the Highland Show last weekend and knew we needed them at WH asap! ๐Ÿ˜

Theyโ€™re perfect sprinkled over a steak with peppercorn sauce, or used as the finishing touch on a burger or salad for extra flavour and crunch.

Keep an eye out for samples in the shop this week ๐Ÿ˜‹

๐Ÿ“Pick Your Own Open this Saturday !๐Ÿ“

We are all ready to go for opening our strawberry pick your own this weekend.

Growing strawberries and opening our fields to the public is costing more and more every year, the plants, tunnels and irrigation to staffing, safety, mowing, punnets and everything else that makes PYO possible.

Weโ€™ve also seen a significant rise in the number of people eating large quantities of fruit without paying for it in the past few years, which makes it even harder for us to keep offering PYO as a family day out.

Therefore, we have introduced an entry fee of ยฃ2.50/person as a token towards covering these costs. If you pick over 2kg and above of fruit, your individual ticket is refunded. All tickets are inclusive of 20% VAT.

We really appreciate your support and look forward to welcoming you back into the fields.

Our playpark will still be free of charge if you are looking for a family day out at the farm! Pick Your Own is optional.

Our farm shop will be open as normal, alongwith our new Sitooteire for you to grab a refreshment after picking, make sure to try our new Wester Hardmuir Raspberry lemonade!

Looking forward to seeing everyone on the farm over the summer!
