Pembrokeshire, we need to talk… 👀🛍️
There are brilliant local businesses sitting right under our noses, and half the time we don’t even realise what they sell.
Before you automatically order online, take a wander around your local town. Pop into that shop you always walk past. Go down the side street you never normally use. Have a proper nose around.
You might find the perfect gift.
You might find fresh local produce.
You might find tools, appliances, homeware, craft supplies, hobby bits, clothing, handmade items, or something totally random but absolutely brilliant.
That’s the fun of shopping local. You don’t always know what you’re looking for until you find it.
And let’s be honest, Pembrokeshire’s towns would be pretty dull without our independent shops, cafés, makers, traders and family-run businesses. These are real people working hard, employing local people, supporting local families and keeping our communities alive.
So here’s a little challenge for this week:
Pick a Pembrokeshire town.
Park up.
Have a wander.
Go into at least three local businesses you’ve never been into before.
You may come home with something you needed, something you loved, or just a better idea of what’s available right here on your doorstep.
Either way, it all helps.
Shop local.
Browse local.
Discover local.
