Well, I guess you could say it’s an overnight thing that took 30 yrs ……
I’m the mother of two incredible children both making successfully making their way in the world and on top of that I have three incredible grandchildren, making me the luckiest Grandma in the world. When my children were younger, I loved baking and cooking their dinners, all from scratch with fresh local produce. It tasted be
tter than the ready meals you saw everywhere and was so much healthier for us too. Well as they do the children grew and left home but I carried on baking and cooking, only now I also started making bespoke sauces and oils which made ideal gifts for Christmas and Birthdays. Now I know these went down rather well as soon I was taking orders to make more than I could ever use….. Now I have quite a varied range of goodies ……
Elderflower cordial (now this is good stuff), all the elderflower is picked fresh in the morning from mature wild trees
Sloe Gin (another good one). We have a good supply of Sloes around the farm
Rhubarb Gin. We get the sweetest spears of fresh rhubarb
Plum Gin. Plums are all picked off wild trees so all fresh and organic
Damson Gin, a deep and rich coloured Gin
Quince Gin. The fruit is from a secret and vintage line of Quinces trees and it makes a liquor of liquid sunshine
Quince jelly and Membrillo. Both are select products and excellent for cheeses and cold meats
More recently I’ve added Damson and Plum conserves and the latest additions are a rich BBQ sauce, intense dark chocolate brownies, cookies and cakes.
