With the harvest behind us, the vineyard is beginning to slow, its rows turning from green to gold and the last leaves catching the morning dew.

That’s a wrap on our first season of vineyard tours! 🍇

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us at Pinglestone Estate this summer. It’s been such a pleasure welcoming visitors to the vineyard, sharing our w**emaking story and, of course, enjoying a glass or two of Louis Pommery England together.

Our tours will return in spring 2027, and we’ll be sharing dates and booking details in the coming months.

Until then, thank you for making our first season so special.

A season in fast-forward. 🍇

From spring frosts to record-breaking summer heat, 2026 has been an extraordinary year at Pinglestone Estate.

An unprecedented growing season brought challenges, careful decisions in the vineyard and ultimately our earliest harvest on record.

Now, with the grapes safely gathered and fermentations underway, our Head Winemaker, Will Perkins, reflects on the season and what this remarkable vintage might hold.

From grape juice to w**e…

Harvest may be over, but things are very much alive in the w**ery.

Here, Will is using a hydrometer to measure the density of the fermenting w**e. As the yeast converts the natural sugars in the grape juice into alcohol, the density falls – allowing us to follow the progress of fermentation.

Our 2026 fermentations are healthy and ticking along nicely. 🥂

Harvest 2026 🍇

A look back at a few very special weeks at Pinglestone.

From the first bunches coming off the vines to the last grapes arriving at the w**ery, this year’s harvest has been a wonderful team effort - long days, busy hands and plenty of anticipation for what this vintage will become.

The grapes are now safely in the w**ery and the next chapter begins.

As we head into the final day of harvest tomorrow, a moment to celebrate some of the team behind this year’s vintage at Pinglestone Estate.

The final days of harvest. 🍇🥂

Our Chardonnay grapes are coming in as we approach the end of harvest at Pinglestone Estate.

By Monday, the last grapes will have been picked and another English harvest will be complete — the beginning of the journey from vineyard to bottle.

An early start for the vineyard team this morning as harvest continues here in Hampshire.

We’re now around halfway through the 2026 harvest, with the team working incredibly hard to bring in the fruit at just the right moment.

Long days, early mornings and a very special time of year in the vineyard. 🍇
