The shop is brimming with lovely local beers from Torrside and Thornsett breweries ♥️

We tried Torrside’s Power Stance imperial peated ginger beer at their tap event last weekend. Described as a Whisky Mac for Beer Anoraks it’s rich, smoky and fiery with a balanced sweetness and a lick of whisky notes - utterly delicious 🍻

We will be pouring samples of some of our Belgian style beer specials today and tomorrow (or until we run out 😅) so come on down and give them a try!

Also just a note to say we will be open usual hours over the Bank Holiday - 1-8pm today, 12-7pm Saturday and closed Sunday and Monday. Hope everyone has a fantastic long weekend and it involves some Banging Bottles! 🍻

Happy International Belgium Beer Week 🇧🇪 🍻 🎉

We will be celebrating the Belgium beer culture with a belting range of Belgian style beers available on the shelves for you to indulge in! From Belgian blondes, Trappist ales and Saisons to rich Belgian Dubbels and lighter Witbiers.

The range has been hand picked from breweries across the country. Some breweries you will have seen on the shelves before and we welcome newcomers to the shop - the award winning Lost & Grounded from Bristol and the brewery producing heavenly beers in Sheffield, Emmanuales 🙌

Including their limited release Citra Riwaka - a juicy hazy pale bursting with tropical fruit, ripe citrus and luscious melon. And limited edition NZ Pilsner - brewed with the finest New Zealand hops, it’s clean, crisp and the perfect thirst quencher 🍻

Lovely little line up from Farm Yard brewery on the shelves 🍻 including their new lip puckering passion fruit sour 😙 and Pig Pale, which we think is the perfect summer sipper - packed with peacharine and cyro nectaron hops to provide layers of fruity notes to this light as a cloud hazy session IPA.

We also have back in stock the Tooma River reserve Chardonnay and Gayda Pinot Noir. A brilliant red when lightly chilled, full of cherry and strawberry notes, subtle cinnamon, cocoa and tonka bean on the palate. It’s complex and delicate, offering great length and subtle depth 🍷
